I work in the medical device world, where a tolerance of a few microns is the line between a product that helps a patient and one that doesn't. I came up through the University of Wisconsin–Madison, cut my teeth across the upper-Midwest's medtech corridor — Madison, Arden Hills, and now Brooklyn Park — and I care about the unglamorous discipline that makes life-critical hardware actually dependable.
