MAGE · MANA ECHO
FIGHTER · GUARD HEAT

Mechanic of the day: Echo-Parry Duel

Controls: Mage: A cast, B blink, RT redirect last orb. Fighter: A slash, B dash, RT parry stance.

Rules: Mage projectiles leave a 1-second echo trail. Fighter can parry the orb only during its bright flash; a perfect parry converts it into a pink counter-orb. Mage can redirect once, but each redirect drains visible mana pips.

Win condition: First to 3 stocks, 90-second rounds; center crystal activates after 30 seconds to force engagement.

Test: Does the fighter feel brave closing distance, or helpless? Tune parry window, blink cooldown, hitstop and projectile speed until both players yell at the same moment.
